The Song of Change

[Credit]

You want to change for the better? You are sick with all the sins and wrong-doings you have committed all this while? You've had it enough? But you don't exactly know how to do so?

Fret no more! Come, follow these FIVE easy steps. Let's!

One, two, buckle my shoe.

Before you begin your journey, make sure you are well prepared. Especially if it's a long journey in finding solace and the truth. Purify your intention and identify your goal(s).

Then shoot off! Don't ever procrastinate, and leave your doubts at home!

Three, four, shut the door.

Leave your past behind. Make sure you shut the door tight; don't leave a room for jahiliyyah to creep in. Ever. You don't want your dark past to tag along with you during the whole journey, do you?

Remember, everyone has got a past, and it has a name. It's PAST TENSE. Smiles.

Five, six, pick up sticks.

Ready to put up a fight, if needs be. Defend your aqidah, iman and principles as vigorous, enthusiastic as possible. If syaitonirojim or jahiliiyah come knocking on your door, make sure they are asking for trouble and nothing else.

Once you heart has been touched by Makcik Hidayah, trust me, you would want to do just about anything to ensure she stays put. Don't go anywhere, Makcik!

Seven eight, lay them straight.

Get things straight and done. Follow the right path, based on al-Quran and as-Sunnah. If you need others to guide you, ask them in the most loveable and respectful manner.

You don't need to argue or debate, even when it's obvious that you are on the right side.

"I shall guarantee a house at the bottom of the paradise, to those who refuse to debate, although they are on the truthful side..."

[Narrated by Abu Daud]

Nine, ten, a big fat hen.

Err.. After all the sacrifices you have made to become a better person, after going through all the trials and tribulations, the rewards await you. Be it in this world, like the sweetness of ukhuwwah, the satisfaction, the feeling of blessed and contented, the ultimate calmness... Or in the hereafter, which is none other than the paradise itself.

There, you will have your big fat hen.

"For indeed, with hardship, (will be) ease. Indeed, with hardship (will be) ease."
[al-Insyirah, 94:5-6]

Let's sing it along, together! Shall we..?

One, two, buckle my shoe,
Three, four, shut the door,
Five, six, pick up sticks,
Seven, eight, lay them straight,
Nine, ten, a big fat hen!

Call it, the song of change. Ahah!

Shiuuhh shiuuhhh, the wind of change passes through face. Glowing eyes. Smiles.

Been wanting to finish-off a write-up on Mursi and the current turmoil in Egypt. But for a piece like that, I need hard facts. And it ain't an easy task. Apparently. Sigh.

Voila. The post that I've been waiting for. In support of good English usage. Don't fret, every language is a language of God. Very inspiring. Keep it up.

"I shall guarantee a house at the bottom of the paradise, to those who refuse to debate, although they are on the truthful side..."

It happened to me thrice, but the fourth and the fifth, I fought back, and that(also) made all the difference. So, will I get a house there?
